Stock Syrup
Makes 850 ml of stock
600 ml of water
500gr Sugar (that has been blended by a hand blender for 2 min)
Peel of 1 lemon
Peel of 1 orange
2 bay leavs
1 pc of cinnamon bark
1 star annis
Bring all to boil slowly stirring to ensure all the sugar dissolves Skimming as you go. Turn down and simmer for 10 mins.Sieve, cool quickly and store in a screwtop jar.
